Default Furuno Battery Life

Have a Furuno GP7000F with 8 seasons on it now.Never any problems, and an excellent unit. It has the orig. batteries, and i was wondering how long you guys get out of them. I'm in the NE, and boat is stored from October till May. Thanks in advance.

With constant use the batteries are supposed to last 3-5 years. With it being used only in summers though I would say that the battery would last considerably longer. I have seen some of the batteries last in some Furuno units for 10 years without having problems. Then there are some items that I install that need replacement a year or so later. Just all depends on conditions and usage of the equipment.
