Default B175 in key west 239

Anyone installed a b175 in a key west 239?
I'm thinking just forward of the step, next to the keel.
Appears to be plenty of room on the outside of the hull.
Any limitations / stuff in the way INSIDE the hull?

Just trying to get my ducks in a row before I start cutting!

Call the boat manufacturer, they usually can tell you the best spot. If you are getting the boat built, they will usually install it for you.

Already have the boat, and I have a question in on the key west forums as well. Local dealer has installed plenty of b75's with great results...b175 is just a bit bigger.

So I'm looking for any actual firsthand experience.

I would assume the same transducer location would be best. I doubt you'll find too many here with specific experience on your hull. The Key West forum is probably your best bet, but likely very few of them will have installed a B164 or B175.

It's my last chance before the cutting starts later this week. Anyone?

Do you have any pictures of the hull and inside the hull where you plan on installing it? But really it doesn't matter what we think, as long as you have the room not only to cut the hole but the room to turn the wrench to properly tighten it. Btw whatever you do don't use 5200, I have see 3 installs in the past week where the owners installed their transducers in the wrong spot and all of them used 5200, not sure what's going on lately but the best thing to use is 4200 at least the transducer will be able to come out if it ever fails.
