Carling switch USB outlet. Note: carling is also releasing something very similar as well. Nice addition to any dash layout and keeps it clean.

Very nice design of remotely operated battery switches. These are magnet driven and seem really well built. This allows for your batteries to be turned on and off from the dash. BEP has something similar that we were planing to install but did not look like they were heavy duty at all so we did not follow through with that product. These however look and function really well.

Just a heads up on the Blue Seas USB outlets... They do not put out enough current to charge two iPads at the same time and they won't charge an iPad while in use. They are fine for charging and IPad while idle or two phones. With 2 iPads and 2 iPhones on board I ended up adding a second outlet. I will probably add a 3rd in the vberth.

Don't know about 2 ipads but I've used BS USB outlets in the truck and they do indeed charge one even when in use.

And, also use this in the truck with a duel marine Die Hard Battery set up and works so well I even used it in my UTV duel battery set up.

Black goes to neg buss.
Green is auto bilge. We run a triplex wire to the bilge pump. Little old school.

Those are some nice new products. A few years too late though.

Unless......I add that second battery to the house bank.

I am in the process of installing one of these for my IPhone and IPad on my skiff.

You are saying they won't charge an IPad while you are using it?
Is there a USB charging port available that will charge the IPad while you are using it?

Yellow is appropriate for use for DC ground anywhere. ABYC approved this some years back because people were mixing black DC grn with black AC hot and there were some pretty bad results. You can also buy red/yellow duplex wire now from marine suppliers.
Also, go to Paneltronics website and under the technical/ABYC tab there is a downloadable PDF file that has excerpts from ABYC E-11. Lots of good information there for free.

I installed one on my buddy's Whaler, he loves it and it works perfectly. His charges his iPad while he's using it.
