Default Stupid Furuno Question/Comment

I started out small with my Furuno TZ Touch 9" with a NMEA 2000 GPS..

Slowly I have been adding on.... NOTHING is small... It is all bigger Than the pictures.

The radar Power supply (PSU-12), the DFF1 and the Hub take up a lot of space..far more than what I see in some of the install photos posted here. The TZ touch alone is probably 4-5" deep.

Don't get me wrong, I really like it. Never a hiccup and built like a brick outhouse.

The radar power supply is unbelievable...bigger than most 12" mfd...

I just about crapped a brick when I saw the size of the DFF1-UHD. I ended solving space issues by towing it behind my boat in an inflatable raft (just to make room for the radar power supply that stayed in the boat).

It's dicey making sharp turns with the power wire and transducer wires hanging off the stern but you do what you gotta do.

I let my dog ride back there with the sonar module so I don't get funny looks
