Default 2013 Etec 50 to HDS5 Question /Help

Looking to connect a 2013 Etec to a Lowrance HD-5 Is this all I need?

Seems too easy. Everything is just plug and play?

Do you have a gauge like this? http://www.swalden.se/bilder/icom.JPG
Or like this? http://www.ribsforsale.com/images/bo...6m%20rib_l.jpg

If you have the 1st one, all you would need is a NMEA2K cable and "T", because your system already has a backbone and interface cable, if you have analog gauges (2nd photo) then yes, the items in your link should work perfect.

Yes. Although if you want to keep track of fuel used/remaining you will also need an ep-85r.

I have the second, so it looks like the starter kit is in order.

I would say this is overkill for what I am looking to do, but I did run out of gas in this last weekend with my 10 year old. First time in 35 years of boating, flying, driving I have ever run out of gas.
