Default Furuno FCV-295 to B175 compatibilty

Hello All

From what information I have found on the forum I understand that the Chirp transducer will work with the 295, even if they cannot Chirp.

I'm looking at potentially running a B175W and B175L through a 295, my question is which version of the transducer do I require as they come with the plug to suit Garmin, Simrad etc. or do they come in a version with the bare wires?

Correct ...the FCV295 and a CHIRP transducer will be a excellent combination.

Simple ..if it has a plug..just cut it off.

The B175C-HW flush mount comes in bare wire a straight hook up to the FCV 295.
You can get the B175C-L flush mount in plug or a bare wire.
If you happen to get the Garmin version with the 8 pin plug..just cut it problem there.

For anyone not wanting to use two transducers and still get the 8 element Wide / Low combination for a FCV295 / FCV 1150.

You can use a is bare wire....fairing mount.
Or the PM275C-LHW...bare also....Pocket mount.
TM275C-LHW..bare wire.....Transom mount.

All the above listed are the same 8 elements just a different mounting configuration.

And for anyone interested... the LHW is also available in:

R109C-LHW....16 element thru hull external mount.
R509C-LHW.....25 element thru hull external mount.
CM111C-LHW....16 element pocket mount.
CM599C-LHW.....25 element pocket mount.

Every transducer I have listed has the exact same 25 degree fixed cone....for the High side.
