Question chirp

I posted at around Sept 1-2 I was trading my boat for a 29' World Cat well no deal. I have a Lowrance elite7 w/83/200 455/800 transducer If I upgrade to elite 7 chirp will I need to replace existing transducer. I was wondering if chirp is the way to go in shallow water 60' or less. I don't need it for gps/chart as I also have a S/H CPV 12" also My second is a Garmin 840xs to go along with my Garmin a/p 840xs bluechart g2 with vision card

Elite CHIRP uses the same ducers as Elite HDI, so you can use the same ducer. I have not tried Elite CHIRP, but with it's sisterproduct SonarHub and HDS you really see the difference in resolution from around 30 feet and deaper.
