Default Shoot thru hull dead rise compensation

I have a Shearwater LTZ 25 that I want to put a shoot thru hull transducer in. I already have a hole thru the core that is 2" in Dia. The P79 adjustable xducer is to big for the hole, so I would like to use the WBL puck trolling motor xducer. The hull has about 12 degree dead rise. Can I compensate to get a 0 dead rise by building epoxy on one side?

Just enlarge the hole in core...use the P79.

Below is a cored hull that was cut for the much larger M260 by THT memeber vettman.
