Default Navionics Update ??

Anyone use the Navionics update download? I am wondering if it will render my HotSpots Chip unusable in an older Eagle unit I use on my kayak....I would like to get the updates for use in my HDS9 Touch, but still use it in the older unit when I take the kayak out. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Erik

No it won't, the older chip is blacklisted so it can't be used for future updates

On the new chip yes you will be able to get Freshest Data updates.

How old is your chip? Can you post a picture of your chip?

Here is a quick video on it

Kirt,

Card is:
Navionics HotMaps Premium East SD/PREM-E3 V01.19 1GB SD

Bought it around 2006 or so.

Thanks for the vid link, I'll check it out.
