Default Suggestions please - NSS7 power problem

I had two nss7's installed about a year ago. Two weekends ago my port engine would not engage. New battery cable seems to have solved that problem

But now when I power on the nss7's they screen comes on as they boot up but then immediately goes very very dim. You can tell it is on but not nearly bright enough to see anything at all.

Any ideas what the problem may be and suggestions to trouble shoot this

Maybe it's only dimmed down. Just give the power button some short pushes to step trough the different backlight levels.

It sounds like the units are dimmed. Press the power button and release. This will pull up a menu screen that includes a brightness setting.

If that does not work, a soft or hard reset could help also!

Due to battery problems this kind of problems can happen. Normally is not a major problem!

Hardware reset: Push and hold the Zoom in and Zoom out buttons, push the Power button. Keep the Zoom buttons pushed until a beep is heard. Then use the rotary controller to select factory reset.
