Default Yamaha Tachometer Help

I just bought a used boat with a busted tachometer, and I'm trying to find a replacement. The tachometer appears to be a Yamaha Digital Multifunction Tachometer. It has 4Y4 stamped on the back of the gauge, but I can't find a model number with that in it. I can find one with 6Y5 in the model number though. The motor is a 2004 Yamaha F150TXRC. Can you please help me figure out which gauge will fit? I would like to use the existing wiring as well.

I would contact Andy at Shipyard Marine. He may need to know your motor s/n.

Andy advertises on this site, and will take good care of you.

6Y5-8350T-83-00 is the latest tachometer that will plug and play with a 2004 model year motor.

Thanks. Is there a significant improvement in the digital models over the simple dial gauge? There seems to be a big price difference.

Much more functionality in the digital display type versus the needle and dial type.
