Default Was my transducer installed properly?

I just had what was supposed to be a b150m thru-hull transducer installed and attached to my garmin 1040xs and I'm wondering if it is installed properly. It seems to say 120kHz at the bottom and not something along the lines of chirp, which I was expecting. It is definitely clearer, though at the same time it is a thru-hull and no longer a transom mount as well. But it clearly distinguishes fish-like objects from random garbage in the water much better than before.

I realize that the screenshot was taken in 4 ft of water (in the channel at low tide), it was more to show the 120kHz at the bottom rather than any sonar detail.

thanks for any advice that you might have!

You have to go into the sonar menu and select chrip. You have the ability to choose 120Hz or Chrip.
