HDS12 or Simrad Evo2 12in?

Default HDS12 or Simrad Evo2 12in?

Currently have the HDS12, anything better besides the built in chirp which i can purchase the sonarhub?

NSS Evo2 has multitouch, faster processor, better user interface since it has rotary knob and exit button. NSS Evo2 also supports dual range radar.

sheesh you guys got my convinced, at all the lowrance plugs are the same? i dont even have to pull anything from my boat? wonder how much i can get off my HDS 12 for?

You have to replace the power cable, except for this all connectors are the same.

EVO 2 is light years ahead in speed smoothness and function, not to mention pinch to zoom and buttons as well!

man Am I stoked I just bought a EVO2 of BOE Marine. And for a sharp price.. and he's an authorised dealer....by the way I am an ex Lowrance owner too.

Ok so the power cable Definetly need to be swapped. Wondering how much I can sell my hds12 for!

It depends on how old it is and if your selling with transducers or not. Check ebay to see what they are going for. I might be interested in it for a second unit.

i have a 50/200 airmar p66 transducer, debating to keep it for the simrad till i can get a chirp ducer. but my unit is a insight saltwater unit. less then a year old got it as a upgrade straight from lowrance when my hds10 took a crap on me.
