Replace the cable from the GSD 26 to the ducer. My buddy and I both had the same problem.

Will the cable come out of transducer?? Looks like it's directly hard wired

there should be a cable that goes from the 26 to the ducer. The ducer cable is a few feet long. you will have to find the end. it should be a pin type connector.

Sorry, I see how the cable comes out of the 26, but buy looking at the ducer, it looks like the cable is hard wired into the ducer! Is it not hard wired? Or can it be taken apart?

Nick, I think he is talking about the network cable going from the 8212 to the GSD 26.

Why haven't you contacted me about this? Is the boat still in Zachary?

no the cable from the ducer to the GSD 26. there should be a twist type connector that connects the 26 to the duccer. So a cable connects to the GSD 26 and runs to the back of the boat where it connects to the wire that is hard wired into the ducer.

I have the same system as the OP and I too do not have this cable you speak of. Both my transducers are hard wired to the terminal strips inside the GSD 26.

what ducer(s) are you running?

Thanks Nick. Now you understand the headache we went through during the install. Glad we got it figured out.
