The Airmar P66 transom mount or the Airmar B117 , B60 thru hull will be a positive for that depth.
Also the in hull Airmar P79.
All have the same basic sonar paramaters.

If you will be using a CHIRP unit then the TM150M or the B150m.

A CHIRP sounder with TM150M or B150M will be excellent for your fishing, there is another guy fishing Lake Erie here at THT which went that route. He is very happy with his CHIRP setup and has posted several nice screen shots.

If you have HDS Gen2 or Touch you can add SonarHub to get CHIRP.

You can paint any transducer with ducer paint to inhibit growth.

MDR makes a good product.

Tran, you will need a GSD 26 and a CHIRP ducer to have CHIRP
