transducer ???

Default transducer ???

what would be best ducer for Lake Erie deepest place I fish is 80' presently have airmar 50/200

The Airmar P66 transom mount or the Airmar B117 , B60 thru hull will be a positive for that depth.
Also the in hull Airmar P79.
All have the same basic sonar paramaters.

If you will be using a CHIRP unit then the TM150M or the B150m.

A CHIRP sounder with TM150M or B150M will be excellent for your fishing, there is another guy fishing Lake Erie here at THT which went that route. He is very happy with his CHIRP setup and has posted several nice screen shots.

Will chirp work on my HDS or does the FF have to be designed for it

If you have HDS Gen2 or Touch you can add SonarHub to get CHIRP.

Question I wet slip will growth on ducer stop it from working

You can paint any transducer with ducer paint to inhibit growth.

i fish mainly offshore what do you recommend and what is CHIRP sounder? right now i have airmar b60 with gsd 22 sounder and it only reads to about 4-500' and it does not show any fish simple on the sonar screen
just a blue screen with water/depth temp. any input please

Tran, you will need a GSD 26 and a CHIRP ducer to have CHIRP

so i have to remove my thr hull ducer and cable? whats a good the chirp ducer to replace the b60 without cut the hull and rewire? thanks
