Default Any new Furuno chirp DFF1-UHD screenshots?

Anyone have any new Furuno chirp screen shots in deep water. I'd like to see some bigger 2 and 3kw transducer shots if possible.

The DDF1-UHD with CHIRP is 1kw unit. You need to stick with the DDF3 if you want 2kw or 3kw power

That is correct. You would benefit from the narrower beams associated with most of the larger CHIRP ducers, but that would be it. And you would lose the benefit of "Bottom Discrimination" (neat feature) and "Accufish", which you get if you use a transducer from the 265lh family.

That sucks. Any news on when Furuno will support the 2 and 3 kw 16 and 25 element transducers like Garmin and Simrad can?

I think you will need to wait for the introduction of the CHIRP version of the DFF3 sounder box, which has been rumored. There was a long delay in the launch of the first Furuno recreational CHIRP product (DFF1-UHD), however, so I would not hold my breath.

Yeah I'm building a new boat scheduled to be done the end of this year but might go into January. Not looking good for furuno though. I want the most powerful sounder I can get for swordfishing. I'm leaning towards garmin.

What's the cause of all that squiggly line noise in the first pic and second pics?

I'll leave this hear for you guys and others that may dismiss Furuno. I guess it is possible. Click on the fish finders and sonars and click on the "DFF1-UHD compatible with larger 2 & 3 kw chirp transducers" thread
