Default Any experience with Airmar 3kw Chirp Transducers?

We are in the process of switching our machines and modulator over to handle a new chirp transducer. We have been looking at the Airmar 3kw CM599LH, CM599LM transducers and have seen that they are now offering a wide angle transducer that sweeps at a constant 25 degree angle while in high frequency. Our objective is to target swordfish and deep water fish such as yellowedge and golden tiles consistently during the daytime in depths from 500'-2000'. I wanted to see if anyone out there was currently using any of these transducers and what your feedback from them is.

If you are targeting at 500' and deeper then the CM599LM would my choice over the CM599LH....that should do the trick.

At depths of 500' and deeper.. the Medium and Low bands will give the best results.

I would not advise one of the newer 25 degree cones for those depths.
