Default Lowrance non-touch HDS?

I see Lowrance non-touch units being discounted and clearanced out. Does anyone know what Lowrance is up to? Are the non-touch units going away or being replaced with something else? Is there a time frame for something new? As a guy that stays a couple generations behind the leading edge I am trying to decide if it is time to pull the trigger.

Thanks SK

The Lowrance reps at iCast said the HDS Gen3 would be announced but didn't say when. Think HDS Gen2 with Simrad Evo2 hardware.

The big question is 4:3 or widescreen format. One of my boats have a instrument panel designed exactly to fit a 4:3 HDS-8. I expect the new model to get a Auto/Standby button for the autopilot.

If I go to the show again I will ask.
