Default In hull Install

Getting ready to install a R111Lh.I have sanded a area 14 1/2 ×6 1/4 to solid glass. My question is what is the best way to attach the tank to the hull??I heard epoxy..What kind?I know I want to run around the outside..but do I want a small bead in the inside?I do not want to effect the element's. Thanks,Mike

Airmar recommends

Bonding material
Fiberglass resin: Bondo 401
West Marine #1937762)
or Marine-Tex epoxy putty (14 oz. pack)
or 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200

When I did my M260 I used 5200. I did it in May 2009.

This year, for the first time, I check the RV Antifreeze I used as the fill liquid.

It was still exactly as full as it was when I installed it more than FIVE years ago.

If I had to install it again, I wouldn't use anything other than 5200 for that job.

I'll add that I was meticulously anal about the prep work, etc. I can get accurate depth reading from 0MPH to 50MPH in various conditions.
