Default Raymarine EV-100 Power autopilot help

Hello all- I am looking for some advice concerning the Raymarine ev-100 autopilot. I really like the price and I have a Raymarine chart plotter already installed so integration would be easy on by boat. My concern is that my steering ram is near the limit for the type 05 pump at 8.34 cu. in. The pump is rated for up to 9 cu. in so that may be pushing it. I called raymarine and they said it was within specs for the ev-100 but said I could possible have issues. I will be installing it on a sea hunt 225 with a yamaha f200xb. If anyone with any experience with a similar setup could help out with some advice that would be greatly appreciated.
