Default Help! Mercury SC1000 Speed gauge to Simrad NSS7 Evo2

I recently re-powered my 25 CC with twin 2014 Mercury 150 EFI four strokes. I already have a Simrad NSS7 Evo2 on the boat, and want to know what I will need to connect my GPS to my SC1000 speed gauge to get an accurate fuel burn (MPG, etc.) At this point I don't have a NMEA network or anything plugged into the NMEA port at all. The only things plugged into my Simrad is my power, chirp transducer, and LSS-2. The other ports are empty. I was told I should be able to connect my gauge to my Simrad to get all of the information from the motors, but I am mainly concerned with getting an accurate speed. Right now the speed is coming from the pitot and it horribly inaccurate. If anyone knows what parts, adapters, etc I will need to connect it, or possibly a wiring diagram, I would greatly appreciate.
