Default New Electronics Opinions needed..Chart Plotter,Sonar..

Alright Guy's,Let me throw this out there....I just took my Old Raymarine C-80,DSM-250.P-66 Transducer off my old Boat...Was going to put it on my New to Me Boat, over all I have been satisfied with it for about 12 yrs. or so.Now with all the New Technology I'm having second thoughts..This will most likely be my last Boat..I Fish the Chesapeake Bay,shallow to about 130 ft..I may do an Ocean Trip here and there to no more than 300 ft.

Looking for something with at least an 8 inch screen to 10 maybe.Mounting space is about 9" by 12".Looking for something with DSI,Maybe Chirp,HDI...Possibly side scan as well.Looking for a Combo unit...Plotter,Sonar,I may add Radar later...Would like to stay in the $1200.00 to $2000.00 range...Let me know what Ya' think.....Thanks!!

Hard to beat the Simrad NSS8 right now. Add a sonarhub for side scan and you're there.

this unit here would be great for many years. just need to determine what transducer to get. add side scan later. I get some great readings from my 547xs chirp sonar(baby brother) with TM150 transducer. sell your other electronics on here! EDIT this one is 14"x9" just saw the requirements in your post. maybe the 840 garmin would do well?
