Default 840xs question

I just bought a 840xs with a tm150m and the black box setup for down and side view (thanks Gill). I would like to learn how to flip thru the menus and do a software update in my driveway. But the manual for the tm150m says to not run it out of the water do to heat. Is there a way to shut off the sounders in the menus? I looked thru the manuals but didn't see it in there. Maybe i missed it....

Submerge it in a bucket of water and do your SW upgrades.

Not easy to submerge in a bucket as it is attached to the boat I could run a hose over it though. I guess i could disconnect it. But I cant believe that there is no way to just shut it off.

just tap the power button and it gives you the option to disable all sonar. I've made this standard routine every time I pull up to the dock to pull out. That way I can turn everything on waiting to launch the next time.
