Default Auto Pilot for Verado

Should probably have posted this on the Verado Website but did a search last night and got muddled in all the answers.
What do I need to set up an autopilot on a 26 foot express with twin Verado 200,s they are Gen II but the six cylinder version not the four.

Nothing special. Just need the fittings for the hydraulic. Garmin sells a kit specifically for verado.

Jimmy,

For the Garmin GHP10 with Verados you will need the following:

a. GHP10 with display
b. 1.2 liter pump
c. Verado adaptor kit

This is all.

For autopilots on verado, do you need to keep the mercury verado pump running while the autopilot is being used.

If your Verado is running, then your power steering pump is running.

Actually I have a smaller kicker motor tied to the verado, so the verado is not running.
Want to know if the verado pump needs to run for autopilot pump to work correctly or can i run just the autopilot pump on its own.
