Default Raymarine C80 wiring with Evermore SA-320?

Hey all,

My neighbor was given HR a chartplotter and he purchased a GPS puck to go with it. He is having trouble with the wiring due to the different color schemes. Can anyone advise? Here is his message to me. Thanks all

"have not yet been able to get the Raymarine C80 GPS / fishfinder and Evermore SA-320 GPS antenna to work, cable colors are different (to make it easy....)

Raymarine has: ground, red, yellow, green and brown
GPS has: ground, red, green, white and black

Any suggestions how to connect?"

Colors are meaningless. You need to know which leads are the NMEA "in" and the NMEA "out". Connect the "out" from the GPS receiver to the "in" on the Raymarine.

I was browsing on E-Bay the other night and saw some of those GPS units. I was reading the listing and it had a picture of the install instructions on it. You may want to try that route.

Here it is for you I found it again.

Here's the way I have it hooked up on my system.
Raymarine. Evermore
White/green +- to green/brown +-
Yellow/brown +- to white/blue +-
Red/black to power +-
