Default Hooking up older lowrance radar

I purchased an LRA 1800 on ebay, it came with an rdr1021MD 2kw processor.
I would like to mount this on the hardtop on a wellcraft 220 sportsman. I have a lowrance hds 12 gen 2 touch, equipped with go free and I have another lowrance hds 9 touch in the bow. I have a sonar hub and TM150M on order with BOE. Would this radar interface with the system I currently have? Would the go free wireless work properly or would there be an issue? I believe I would need a heading sensor for overlay. Other than that would I need anything else?

should just need the RJ45 to network adapter and an ethernet cable, I think the part is the ETHADAPT, just look up "simrad rj45 to network" in google, they're around $40, the ethernet cable can be had at any tiger direct best buy or similar.

Do you think i would be able to share screens between both hds units with that configuration? Would the RJ45 interfere with the lowrance go free wireless device?

This will work fine. You'll need the cable as mstyle said. You can connect the radar network cable to either the Gofree, or to the back of the HDS 9 or 12. It is on the network, so will share on all devices.

Technically, if you want over-lay, you will need a heading sensor. Several have reported that the Point 1/GS25 GPS antenna will work sufficiently for over-lay though.

Thanks very much to all. I was concerned that there would be an issue with the go free based on info i received from someone at Lowrance that was not very knowledgeable about the unit I have.

Did you buy it from a dealer on eBay or and individual?

I'm looking for a LRA-1800 HD for my LCX 113c HD

Thanks! I need to find the cable too.

You got lucky! I can't find any on there now.
