Default LSS-2 Issue

Recently up graded my HDS-10 Gen 1 & LSS-1 to the HDS-12 touch & LSS-2. My issue is with the LSS-2. I mounted the LSS-2 transducer in the same location as the LSS-1. Port side on the transom. My boat is a 25 GW with a DP drive. When viewing the side scan the starboard side is darker with the drive down or up. First pic is with the lss-1 drive down.Pic #2 is with the lss-2 with the drive down. pic #3 is with the drive up. Any thought what might be causing the starboard side to be darker???

I'm kinda having the same type of issue. My LSS2 ducer is mounted on the port side, and I have weaker returns on the starboard side. Whether the OB drive is in or trimmed out there is no change in the signal. It may just be a slight angle of the ducer relative to the bottom (deep Vs tend to list easily). Attached is a pic that shows a stronger return on the port side.

The lower you mount it the better. That's all I can say.

If you have an out-drive or outboard you're going to have some shading.
