Default Transducer bracket Broken

Was cleaning the scum off My furuno 1850 FF transducer and a piece of plastic came off in my hand-noticed the ducer was loose the day I was going to drop the boat in. Ducer now freel moves up and down. but is still attached to hull.

Do I need a new mounting bracket ? Or is it a snap on piece? Never had this issue before
Can still hold bottom while moving slow so don't want to pull boat if don't have to .

Thanks for all input

You just need a new bracket, nothing serious.

I replaced mine with a metal bracket after breaking a plastic one. Not hard to do, but you will need to pull the boat out. Make sure you waterproof your work.

When you haul the boat to replace the bracket , screw in and seal a mounting plate of PVC or Starboard to mount the new bracket to separately. Next time you can do it in the water.
