Default Garmin Questions

I am getting ready to install updated electronics on my boat. Questions:

1. Do the 8212's work with the GCV 10 ?

I really want chirp and would like to have side view/Down view

2. Can the GSD 26 AND the GCV 10 both be hooked up to work with these units (At the same time)? I like the idea of being able to use a higher than 600W transducer as well as the one with the GCV 10.

3. Which Transducer(s) ?

Info: Mostly inshore fishing with depths to 200'. Some offshore fishing at 500'. Possible canyon runs in the future.

My current Ducer is through hull in a fairing block. Aimar M or B 260 (Not sure). How hard will it be to remove and replace wit ha new oner?

I am open to other combo's as well. Currently have Raymarine. Thanks for any insights!

1: Not yet, but quite soon according to what I've heard
2: Yes
3: B275LH-W and the combined DownVu and SideVu transducer.

An alternative would be Simrad NSS12 Evo2 or NSS16 Evo2 with BSM-2. NSS Evo2 has the StructureScan electronics integrated.

The B275C-LHW will retro fit into your current fairing (If you have a B260)

The new wide series is going to be a very popular line of transducers.

Below are screen shots taken during the early B175W testing in 2012.
