Default yamaha command link plus to simrad

i have a full simrad network - nse,nss,bsm2,SS,4g.... and looking to connect my yamaha command link plus to my network. id like to do this myself and save the $115/hr install cost. i have limited experience with power cables... how do i connect these 2. is it a simple cable or is it more elaborate than that. i believe i have a nema2000 and simnet netwrok (all professionally installed) thanks for any/all help. btw i have twin yamaha 350's

Yamaha sells a command link plus gateway that you would connect to the command link plus hub provided you have a free spot. That will connect to the NMEA2K backbone.

I'm looking to do the same. Can anyone confirm the proper Yamaha Gateway part number. I have an F300XCA with the Command Link Plus color gauge. The old number was MAR-GTWAY-KT-00. I recently heard that number was replaced by 6Y9-8A2D0-20-00. Everything I've seen though says that's the replacement for the regular Command Link (non-plus) gateway (MAR-GTWAY-ML-09).
