Default need advice for Garmin downvu/sidevu location

cant decide which one of these options would work the best, please advise.

My two cents is closer to the Keel the better you have less movement up-and-down. The farther outboard it is the more the hull rises and lowers with the rocking action, that seems to be an issue with a higher resolution down Scan and side scan. Also I would think you would want it down below the trim tab to make sure that it doesn't cast a shadow IMHO. I mounted mine in what you have numbered as position number three and it works very well for me.

so option #3 ? It's gonna be real close to tm150 and slightly lower.

What about option three on the opposite side? It's only use at slow speed trolling speed so I don't think water disturbance will be a problem.
