I just got a quote on setup for new boat , what do you think.

also is the unit as good as they say?????

I think it means that your placing a bid on an electronics package and that you are not a vendor. I have bought stuff from Firehouse Tackle, BOE and Tightline Rods who play by the rules. There are other vendors here that I have also heard and seen good things about that I have not had the pleasure of doing business with.

I don't work on the police force here. I just see others playing by the rules.

Thats correct. I AM placing a bid on an electronics package, and I'm NOT a vendor. In all honesty, the guy deserves to get the best price on his electronics whether its through me or somebody else. Therefore, it shouldnt be an issue if Im not a "vendor".
