Default wireless remote for AP

I know Nautamatic offes one on their TR-1 and Raymarine has one for their smartpilot series - does anyone use it and how do you like it - what do you find you use it for?... or is it more of a toy you get tired of?

Thanks

My Simrad AP16 has w/r. It can be used tp make adjustments in 1* or 10* increments. I mainly use it when I'm trolling and want to make a sweeping turn. I can make the adjustments w/o going to the helm.

I just put one on my raymarine ap before I went to the keys. Nice to put something on a boat thats actually plug and play. It's great to be able to steer the boat anywhere. Mine uses AA's or maybe it was AAA's I forget now.

Glen,The remote is definitely worth the money. Works great when you run to the bow or hanging off that transom. Think about it when you want to walk to the front and sight some fish and at the touch of a button the boat turns at them and you are picking up your rod already.
