Default Reality Check - Combo unit

I've been wavering between FF/GPS units for my 19' CC. I know the stuff I'm looking at is overkill, so don't bother to tell me. My brother has his (he has the same boat) set up with a Ray c-80. I've been looking at Humminbird 987, Lowrance 111 HD and Garmin 2010c with FF module. Ran across a package deal at the wet feet site for a 3010 w/ GDL 30A GSD 20 and GMS 10 for a little over $2,400. I was thinking the 2010c plus FF modules was around $2K. I don't need the GMS 10 or the XM receiver, but for roughtly $400 more than the 2010c I would get the brighter 3000 series display and the ability to add radar, subscribe to weather, etc. if I ever choose to.

Am I missing something or does this seem the way to go?
