wat doi you guys think about the smart cast fish finder

Do you think any fish you could discern on that thing would still be there after you retrieve the castable sounder that made that big splash and then replace it on your line with a lure & cast out again or switch to a diiferent rod? The usefulness of a $30 F/F has got to be rather overly dependent on the optimistic enthusiasm of the user.The whole thing seems very silly to me & the prices it has been available for vary by a huge %. Have you tried it? I have not.

no i havent tried itbut it doesn t matter anymore i bought this portable fishfinder called the Piranha MAX 10 and it suck horibly...im in 3 feet of water and i can see the bottom and it says im in 212 feet of water

It might be good for helping find structure more than finding fish if anything. ;?
