Default Standard CP150 GPS question?

I currently have a Standard CP150 that was on my old boat. The new boat has all Raymarine electronics. The questions is...How can I get all my way points off of my CP 150 and enter them on to my new C120? Is there a copy and past function? I would hate to have to re-enter every single way point individually.

Thanks for your help.

Default Re: Standard CP150 GPS question?

You can transfer the CP150 waypoints to a PC program via NMEA 0183 interface and then use the same or similar program to transfer the waypiints to the C120. Maptech, Nobeltec and many others make software that is compatible with both units. Waypoint transfer functionality is built into the NMEA 0183 protocol. I have used a free program I downloaded off the SH website a couple years ago to download/upload waypoints to my laptop. I use those same data files and a Maptech program to transfer the waypoints to my Garmin 60CS.
