Default Transducers

What transducers do I need for my gen touch 2 HDS 12 lowrance? I want to see down, side and structure scan. So does this mean I need one transducer for each view or will one work? Just trying to wrap my brain around the transducer thing, I use a 5 series Garmin with down view, and with this new Lowrance touch 2 need some help, thanks David

LSS-2 will give you StructureScan, ie high frequensy sonar looking down and to each side. The LSS-2 is available as transom mount, and through hull versions.

You will need another ducer for the 2D-sonar (the "normal" fishfinder), there are numerous choices available, depending on your intended use. (What depth, what sort of fishing, what boat etc.)

Hi,

Ok my boat is a 22' Cape Horn 2004, motor 150hp 4stroke Honda 2013, also has lenco troll and tabs, fishing depth from 6' to 400' Gulf of Mexico out and Panama City Beach, sort of fish anything that bites and I can eat, Snapper family, grouper, assorted bone fish, Red Fish, Speckel Trout, and so on. I will troll while on the move from reef to reef.

So I will for sure need the LSS-2, 50/200; what other do you reccomend?

Thanks David
