Exclamation Need help. Lowrance Elite 5 Dsi vs HB 597 ci hd di

Trying to figure out which of the 2 is a better fit for me and my local south fl waters. I rely on the gps very heavily and the fish finder as well. The HB has a nice picture and colors but is not user friendly and I don't find the fishfinder to be very accurate. It goes crazy from time to time marking fish and different water depths. As for the Lowrance, I haven't used it therefore I don't know much it.

Any reviews of either one will be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Elite-5 DSI is an older model with downscanning only. Go for one of the HDI models Chimesoffreedom are linking to. In addition to the chartploter they have the same fishfinder as HDS plus the DownScan part from the StructureScan combined in one unit.

Thanks for the info guys. I would love to get a Garmin 740s if they ever come down in price.
