Default What transducer to select: Furuno 587 -200 khz ss264w

Just wondering what transducer people are selecting from the menu when running a single frequency. I have a ss264w in the 200 khz and just use the 1kw from the menu. Is this what others are doing as well. Does this mean that the Sounder doesn't utilise the xid function?

Cheers

I have a ss264w 200 hooked to gamin 740s 6 pin would like to use with FCV 587 , is there a cable that goes from 6 pin to 10 pin for furuno or can I even use this transducer with FCV 587 since it is 6 pin? I fish in the gulf of Mexico Florida 30 to 100 feet max. What depth is Distraction fishing?

No adapter but you can splice in a Furuno 10 pin pigtail.
