Default Is Simrad worth the extra$$$$

I know there VHF radios are great. But is a Simrad radar or multi function unit worth the extra $$$. I have had good luck with Garman So-So with Raymarine and HORSE $%*@ with Si-Tex products.

SimRad is way underrated... their screens are crisp and bright ... their technology is rated amoung the best in the industry......

By no means confuse them with Si-Tex.......

Their stand alone radars with domes are their own design dome. (The domes are their own design)
Their stand alone radars with open arrays are the same as koden (sitex). The displays on all stand alones are the same as Sitex sells.

Well according to Simrad, Koden does make them their domes but their displays are custom made for them, ...
