Default Spreader Lights

I am looking to add 2 spreader lights to both sides of my T-Tops. I picked up a set of lights but now I need brackets to mount to the pipes. Does anyone make something to mount to the T-Tops without drilling them.

Default Re: Spreader Lights

I mounted enclosed speakers to my t-top and likewise did not want to drill the tubes. I used u-bolts to go around the tube and the flat plate that came with the u-bolt pkg "pinches" the mounting bracket tight against the tube. (2 u-bolts per speaker bracket). I also used captive nuts rather than the standard nuts that came with the ubolts. So far, I've had no problems, even with a very rough ride on the Chesapeake. I did however use gal steel rather than SS... will probably swap them out to SS when I get the chance.

What type of speader lights did you purchase?... I'm keeping an eye out for a pair for my boat...

Captive nuts? Did you mean the Nylock type aircraft nuts?
