Default Alpine Marine Speakers?

Part of my electronics upgrade is going to be switching out my speakers. I understand Wet Sounds and JL are the front runners but I have always been a big Alpine fan. I also got a screaming deal on an Alpine Maine head unit last year and want to keep everything the same for OCD reasons. I will be replacing a 2 sets of MB Quart 6.5 speakers which have been adequate and a 10' Clarion subwoofer which has already been replaced once. The Clarion sub definitely is not designed for the marine environment. Wondering if anyone has any good or bad reviews on the Alpine speakers. Although OCD is driving me towards the Alpine speakers, if anyone has had bad real world experience I would definitely take that into consideration.

Default Alpine Speakers

I have Apline head unit, Alpine amp and 4 Alpine speakers in the cockpit area.
I put foam baffles behind each speaker.

AMAZING SOUND.

Did you go with the Type S or Type R speakers? And where did you get the foam baffles from, or did you make them?

Alpine is great but how great in marine app I don't know. You never hear anyone here buying them. I'd be leaning towards wet sounds or Polk. . My 2 pennies
