Default Which GPS?

I know that this isn't boating related but you guys seem to know a lot about electronics so I'll ask it here. Looking for a dual purpose GPS for car and motorcycle, mostly motorcycle. The Garmin Street Pilots look good but someone mentioned the TomTom made in the UK. Is anybody famiar with TomTom or have any other specific recomendations? Thanks in advance!

For the small difference in price the 700 has a lot more to offer than the 300 But thats only from reading the specs...

That's what I was thinking but the "Rider" version is loaded. I can't seem to find the price though. It won't be out until at least August. Do you carry anything that would work? I want a color map with good software but really don't care about many of the frills.

Avoid Magellan. I know people in the business who hate to sell them because so many of them come back. I had one in my Cessna 172 which was so bad, I tossed it & got a Garmin. Furthermore FWIW Magellan is owned by Thales, a French Co.!!!
