Default terminal protection

I'm replacing all electrical equipment in my bilge due to flooding. Any recommendations regarding use of liquid electric tape around cinched/soldered cable lugs, or just use protective grease? Same question for all screwed down connections.
Thanks,
Sedge
P.S. The boat is a 19 foot Key West center console.

nothing should be taped or soldered.

smaller gauge stuff (10-18) uses heat shrink crimp connectors. bigger stuff 8awg+ gets crimped and then covered in adhesive lined heat shrink.
