Default Recommendations on fishfinder/chartplotter

I have a Robalo 207 DC and I am looking for a fish/chartplotter. I am looking at the Lawrence elite 5 to give you an idea of what I am looking for with regard to size and price. I will have it installed. I was planning on getting the transom mounted tranducer.

I really no nothing about these. I need a depth finder, chart plotter and fish finder. This was my solution.

Thank you

Garmin 740S & don't look back. It's truly a dream to use & the sonar is solid enough even with a P66 transom transducer (for my needs) Plus...Prices have fallen since last year. Customer Service is top-notch as well (2-year warranty)

Garmin 740S while they are still around as the 741S has replaced the 740S and is a price tag of 1,600. West Marine has the 740S now for 899.

Garmin 740s...or the Simrad NSS7 are both on close out pricing..both will do the job.
The Garmin a bit larger screen and is 600/ 1000 watts.

The Garmin 547 xs is also an excellent uint if you like the elite 5 size...the Garmin is a CHIRP capable unit or you can use it in traditional sonar mode.
