Default furuno to garmin nema and temp wiring

Hi guys,I am need of some help.I have a Garmin7212 with vhf200 andTwo GMI 10 displays they are all hooked up to nema2000 backbone all is great.I also have s Furuno 295 Sounder.I wanted to try and get my coordinates and be able to mark new waypoints on the furuno and have them show up on the 7212.,I was told Furuno 295 was a 0183 device..fine.Furuno said to order their nema2k2 cable which is a converter from 0183 to 2000.Yesterday I got the cable wired it up into the 295 and screwed it into my backbone..No good.My furuno kept saying no data.I spent hours on the phone with furuno and garmin. We could not get it to work.Apparently all nema 2000 networks are not the same..different sentenses. I was told to use the 0183 from the 295 and use the 0183 cable (that I am currently not using)from my Garmin and hook them together. Will this work? What colors got to what?I have seen here the use of small terminal blocks.Where can I get them for these small wires.I have another issue with my thru hull a 526 tid- hdn.It has temp but it is not wired. Can I hook this up to the furuno nema0183 cable? What color to what.Thank you,Mike
