Default Yamaha 225 Rectifier

Hey guys,
I have a bad rectifier on my yamaha 225 etld. The unit on the motor has five wires. 3 green, 1 red, 1 black.

I ordered a new one and it has six wires, it has an extra red. I doubled check the part number and it is correct based on what yamaha has in their catalog, yet on my motor there is no where for this extra red to go.

Anybody have any ideas, can i use the new one and just cap off the extra wire?

I believe that is an isolated charging output so you could hook it up and charge a second battery.
