A Raychart 620 uses any of the Raymarine Seatalk GPS receivers or NMEA receivers from Raymarine or just about anybody else. The newest and most pricey Raymarine receiver is the Raystar 130. If you select that one you will need a Seatalk converter to make it talk to the 620.

Raymarine has discontinued the Ray120 and Ray125 GPS receivers. The latest Ray130 is NMEA 2000 which requires a converter to get NMEA 0185 data that your older Raychart 620 uses. Not only does the new Ray130 require you to do a bunch of additional wiring, it is quite a bit more expensive.

I have been installing a Standard Horizon XUCMP0058 receiver that is reasonably priced and is still NMEA 0183. It takes a little skill to connect the data and power to your Raychart but if you have your installation manual with the data wiring diagram, it shouldn't be a problem.

Raymarine just dropped the price of the 130 and there are plenty of 120s and 125s on ebay.
