Default Anyone having this problem with their Sonic Hub?

I chose for the master volume control to be for all three zones. After I do this it works fine but when I power down and then later power back up this is not selected and I have to do it again - it is like it isn't saving that particular setting and when I power down it loses it and I have to set it back up again each time I turn it on.

Odd - so I have to go to the version before the new version to fix the problem? Wouldn't I then lose the wireless/GoFree functionality with my wifi?

Yes.... Call simrad, they said the 2.5 is a "crumbled up piece of paper", I don't have wifi so I haven't lost anything, incidentally I also have and nse 12 and is screwed up the the whole network, but downgrading fixed it

Got this response from them via email:

"There is a software issue with 2.5 and the software engineers are working on a resolution.
The engineers have not provided a release date for new software yet and we apologize for any inconvenience this is causing. "

My response:

"OK, thanks. Honestly, I hate to sound like an unsatisfied customer, but in the past 2 months I've spent over $3000 on Simrad equipment and almost every piece has had some sort of "software" issue (VHF, NSS, Sonic Hub) - perhaps someone needs to shake up things a little in your quality control department. I really like your equipment when it works, though - just wish it came from the factory working instead of having to wait on updates and fixes."

Your pleas for quality will fall on deaf ears. The best way to "shake up" anything at Navico is to get rid of their products you have, replace them with something that will work, and not buy any more of their vaporware excuses. Thats what I have done, and am happier for it.

After 2 depth finders that would randomly show depth and 2 VHFs that wouldn't VHF, I'm done with them.
