Default Garmin GSD-24 Sounder VS GSD-24 Sounder

Does anyone have experience w/the Garmin GSD sounder and/or able to compare Lorance Elite 7x HDI? I presently use a Garmin 5215 for GPS & Fish Finder and can convert to GSD 24 or buy anoher sounder. Majority of use is for bottom fishing out to 150'.

Why would you switch from a 5215 to an Elite 7? Or are you thinking of getting it in addition to? The GSD 24 is an excellent sounder. Both will work well to 150'.

I assume you have a GSD 22 now but what type of transducer do you have. I currently have a GSD 24 paired with a Airmar TM 260.

The GSD-24..no question.
But if you want another fishfinder get the Garmin 54x7xs CHIRP unit.
